The Ranch

A working property still taking shape — raised deliberately, to last and to be handed down.

Double Creek is a family ranch first.

Its purpose is stewardship and a life lived on the land: room for horses and children, water to fish, fruit and honey to gather, and wild country kept wild. Here's what stands today and what's coming.

The Horse Barn

Eight stalls framed and finished in Douglas fir, with a wash area, aisle, and a second-floor loft under a standing-seam metal roof — designed around the horses and the girls who'll ride them. Drawings, elevations, and walk-through models are on the way to this page.

The working heart of the ranch — equipment, fabrication, and storage. Home to the Kubota, the Polaris Rangers, the Argo, and the plasma table.

A residence on the property to keep the ranch tended day to day, and hands close to the animals and the land.

A pond with a dock to fish from, cultivated with good fish to catch — a quiet corner of the ranch for an afternoon.
